Before applying to the Psychiatric Technician Program, applicants must complete the following:

1. Click here to view the Mt. SAC application and assessment requirements

2. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age upon entrance into the program.

3. Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated with a statement that foreign education is equivalent to a United States High School diploma.


To begin the application, enter your Mt SAC username and password (same as your MyMt.SAC Student Account Login). If you do not have a Mt.SAC username and password, see step 1 above.
