The CA Promise Program, known at Mt. SAC as Promise+Plus, is a combination of financial and support services to help first-time, college students be successful in their first two years of college. Promise+Plus provides a variety of student development, financial and campus community resources and much more! Our mission is to provide support services, free financial resources, skill-building opportunities, and campus connections to first-time college students, thereby facilitating their graduation from college or their transfer to another university.

The Mt. SAC Promise+Plus Program supports California residents and AB 540-eligible students who are first-time college attendees. While most students continue to receive fee waivers by qualifying for the Promise Grant through the financial aid application, the program now offers a dual-track model that includes limited tuition reimbursement for eligible students, expanding access and financial support while maintaining a strong commitment to first-time college success.
