Description | Are you interested in active methods to empower student mental health and your own? Join a facilitated discussion made up of students and faculty who want to engage and reflect on depression while teaching and learning. The discussion will include students who have read the One Book, One Campus book Hyperbole and a Half, by Allie Brosh, demonstrating how the book made them feel and ideas for talking about depression in the classroom. Come prepared to dialogue and find solutions including class activities and methods of support and empowerment in college settings.
Reasonable accommodations, including Sign Language Interpreters, can be provided upon request with 5 days advance notice. Please contact POD at x4504 or email HR at hrinterpreters@mtsac.edu
