Award winning experiential teacher, professional writer and speaker for more than 30 years. He has designed and taught more than 30 field and experiential program from rural Illinois, downtown Chicago, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and the American West to Alaska, Hawaii, New York City, Italy, Cuba, China, and Africa.

Marco is himself a proud product of the community college and the first in his family of Italian immigrants to graduate from college. He is a past winner of his college’s “Professor of the Year” award and was their 2015 distinguished alumni.
